First of all, if you just got your license, you can’t drive anybody else for the first 6 months or so.

Second, Compton is not a playground for stupid wannabe white kids who just got their license. Seriously, you’re going to go and try to take pictures? D@mn, that’s a perfect way to get your @$$ shot up.

Finally, gang members don’t flash gang signs to dumb white boys from Santa Monica, nor do they put on a show for you. Here’s a tip: If you go to Compton, you mind your own business and get out. I’ve been there, and it’s not a tourist attraction. Sheesh.

Man, the sooner you learn life isn’t like MTV (or BET), the better. You’ll probably live longer, too. (Hey, guess what skin color those BET cameramen were?)

You want streets? Stick to Montana Ave, Santa Monica Blvd, and Ocean. Your mommy would be pretty upset to have her kid splattered.

Tips on brushing a my poodle puppy's hair?
I have a 3 & 1/2 month old (15weeks) poodle puppy. I think she may be a maltese/poodle mix, a breeder dropped her at a shelter when she was only 6 weeks old because she was moving and needed to get rid of all her puppies and she couldn’t find anyone to take this one, and I had been coming to the shelter for a couple of weeks looking for a small dog (I’m not allowed to have large dogs where I live), so the shelter workers called me as soon as the breeder dropped her off, they were worried about her getting sick in the shelter.

I have two questions:
Her hair is more straight and wavey, than curly like my older poodle, that’s why I think shes mixed with a maltese, but is that normal for poodle puppies or are they born with curly hair?

My other question is about brushing her, she is a very playful puppy and every time I try to brush her, she trys to play and bites the brush and my hand. I’ve even tried brushing her very easy while shes sleeping but that only works for about 30seconds before shes up and ready to play. Sometimes she’ll lay still for a belly rub, but once I bring out the brush she thinks it’s playtime. Is there anything I can do to get her to calm down while I brush her?

I don’t think she was just a byb, because she also dropped off 2 adult Golden Retrievers and one adult cocker spaniel, so I’m thinking she was probably running some sorrt of small scale puppy mill.
- I just hope that wherever she moved to shes not allowed to have pets, so she wont be able to do it again

Poodle puppy fur is straight and downy soft compared to adult poodle hair.They loose that when the get older, my standard went curly over the course of 1 month when he was 9 months old. I understand it may happen at a different age for a smaller poodle. When it starts to happen you have to brush every day to avoid the mats that form constantly during that change.
Even though your puppy is playful with the brush right now keep trying everyday so she gets used to it. Try giving her a chew toy while you brush her and when she is calm during brushing reward her with a little treat. At 3 1/2 months she should be going to the groomer every 6 weeks and they will also work with her to get her used to the grooming every poodle needs.
